QR Transfer is a feature in the Livin’ by Mandiri Timor-Leste app that allows customers to send or receive funds by scanning or generating a QR code to/from other Bank Mandiri Dili, Timor-Leste accounts. The QR Transfer feature is divided into two processes:
- Send Funds
To send money to a destination account using QR, customers can select the “QR Transfer” menu and then scan or import a QR code from Bank Mandiri Dili, Timor-Leste.
- Receive Funds
To receive money, customers can generate a QR code in the “Show My QR” menu and share it with other Livin’ by Mandiri Timor-Leste users who will be sending the funds.

QR Transfer transactions are only possible between Bank Mandiri Dili, Timor-Leste accounts, so there are no transaction fees for customers using QR in Livin’ by Mandiri Timor-Leste.

Currently, the types of accounts that can receive QR Transfers are Savings Accounts and Giro Accounts with eligible product codes for use in Livin’ by Mandiri Timor-Leste.

Generated QR codes only valid for 1 (one) transaction.

The generated QR Transfer has an expiration time of 24 (twenty four) hours, make sure that the QR transaction has not been processed.

There is a maximum limit to generate QR Transfer at one time according to the Bank policy.

The limit for Own CIF and Other CIF QR Transfer transactions is USD 1.000 (one thousand) per transaction, with a daily total transaction limit of USD 1000 (one thousand).

Customers can view the history of their QR Transfer transactions through the “Show My QR” menu on the homepage by selecting the History button in the top right corner.

Customers can download a report of their QR Transfer transaction history via the “Show My QR” menu on the homepage by selecting the History button in the top right corner, then clicking “Send The Report to Email.” Reports can be downloaded for a maximum period of 31 days in one file.

To successfully complete a QR Transfer, customers must ensure the following:
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a stable internet network.
- If using Wi-Fi, verify that your device is connected to the Wi-Fi network. If using mobile data, ensure your data plan is sufficient and the connection is stable.
- Make sure the QR code you are scanning has not expired and has not been transacted.
- Confirm that the QR code you are scanning corresponds to an active account number.
- Ensure that your account balance is sufficient.

Currently, customers need to first save the QR code image to their phone’s gallery. Then, go to the “Pay with QR” menu from the home screen, select the “Import from Gallery” button at the bottom left, and choose the QR code image for the transaction.

The following are the benefits obtained by customers:
- Facilitates and speeds up transactions between accounts by simply scanning a QR code without the need to manually enter account details.
- Reduces the risk of input errors by customers since account information is encoded in the QR code.
- Provides a new way to conduct transfer transactions between accounts, aside from manually entering account numbers.
- Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet all customers’ transfer needs between accounts.
- Transactions occur in real-time.
